Designed by artist Rudolf Stingel, the Cafeteria is located on the ground floor of the Fondazione. The surfaces of the walls and ceiling are retro illuminated and perforated following a modular path.. The interior of the cafeteria is decorated with reflecting materials.
Restaurant
The first floor of the Fondazione hosts SPĀZIO, the restaurant.
Claudio Silvestrin, the architect of the entire exhibition space of the Fondazione, projected the interior design of the Restaurant Spazio. The hall is rectangular and rigorous with sober walls, one being made of Lecce stone, and the floor is made of concrete, providing the perfect setting for a minimalist furnishing hence creating an exclusive contemporary ambience. Amedeo Martegnani’s untitled work dominates the environment with a three-color wall painting over wallpaper. This work takes up two corner walls and represents a night view of a hedge, with isolated gleaming leaves emerging from a black background.
Both spaces, Cafeteria and restaurant Spazio, are available for private parties, presentations and events.
